Lausø Servuce ApS has developed a remote controlled CAT 287B - Skidsteer.
The remote controlled Skidsteer is manufactured to drive in areas not designated for humans - e.g because of coal dust, treepill dust or in danger zones.
Besides that the remote controlled Skidsteer can be used in areas with a rugged flooring, reducing the danger of the driver hurting his back.
All control of the machine and shovel can be done using the remote control and manually in the cabin, there is no difference in the speed or use.
